How to Properly Size your Dog for the Pawfect Fit!

What you'll need:

• Tape Measure or Measuring Device

•  Loving Puppy Dog

Step 1: Take your Tape Measure or Measuring Tape and you will start measuring your dog from the outside corner of one eye, across the face and the bridge of the nose, to the other outside corner of the other eye. This measurement will determine your "Frame Size." If you do not have a tape measure, you can use a string or a phone charger and compare it to a ruler later on.

Step 2: With your new measurement, compare your dog's size to the "Frame Size" on the Doggles size chart.

Step 3: Find the Doggles that will best fit your Dog. Ideally, you would want your measurement to be less than the frame size

Sizing Example: If you were measuring for Doggles ILS and you measure the distance as 3 inches, your dog would qualify for an XS size. However, if that measurement is 4 inches, you would then move up to a size Small as the 3.5 inch frame on the XS ILS are now not big enough.

Most dogs will readily accept Doggles after a short adjustment period. Training your dog to wear the goggles can be accomplished in a small amount of time if you follow these easy steps:

1) Don't put the goggles on your dog while indoors. Imagine yourself wearing dark tinted glasses inside. You cannot see, and neither can your dog.

2) When you first put the goggles on them, don't let your dog paw at the glasses or roll to get them off. Reassure your dog that its okay. Then, immediately take them to bright sunlight and let them realize that they can see with them on. Walking around will get their mind off the goggles. 

3) Try to go through this routine as often as possible. The number of training sessions required depends on your dog.
